Captain Hugo's Story
I was born into a life of fishing!
This is a 1960 photo of my grandparents' and then my parents' bait & tackle shop in Hamilton, Ohio.
For me there is no greater thrill than to introduce someone to the wonderful world of fishing. A close second is to help an experienced angler set a personal best for quantity of fish caught or boating the largest fish they've ever fought.

Info you need to know:
-
I provide all the gear, tackle, bait, and bottled water you'll need
-
Spacious, well lit, and stable vessel with plenty of room to move around
-
Large shaded area to sit out of the sun
-
Checking states off a map where you've caught fish? With the proper licensing you could check off 3 states in only one trip!
-
Veteran owned and operated
-
In 2017 I won the Spirit of Cincinnati Award from the Cincinnati Travel & Tourism Board for outstanding customer service
-
My boat is equipped with LED black lights for night fishing so you can clearly see rods and lines when your fish strikes (see photo)
-
Fully equipped with advanced Garmin traditional sonar, ClearVü, Panoptix Livescope, and GPS with a large full color easy to read 12" screen to find your fish
-
I will provide all adults with an automatic/manual inflating USCG life jacket. Minor's USCG life jacket (which I will inspect before boarding) must be provided by the adult if mine will be too large. Life jackets MUST be worn at all times
-
Make sure to bring appropriate weather and sun protection
-
You may bring a cooler of food & drinks for a 6 hour trip (NO ALCOHOL per Kentucky Revised Statute 222.202)
-
Maximum 6 passengers (each person regardless of age is a passenger)
-
Minors 15 and under are free! If there are minors they must be accompanied by minimum 2 paid adults for everyone's safety and enjoyment. If I'm occupied with something, and one adult is distracted, there needs to be another adult to keep the minor safe. I really prefer 3 paid adults if there are 2 or 3 minors.

Fishing license will be verified before boarding vessel. All anglers should have license from the same state/s since it dictates where we will be fishing. Please read that state's website regarding latest fishing laws. You can now buy your license online and have an image of it on your phone. Please remember a 1 day license begins at midnight and ends at 11:59PM for the date you purchased! So depending on the hours you want to fish, you may want to consider an annual license. I suggest you don't buy a license until the day before so we are sure the trip is going to happen (weather, river conditions, mechanical issues, etc)

I operate out of a gated marina only 15 minutes west of downtown Cincinnati. Parking for your car is well lit and has security cameras
